Welcome to Decentra Farm—where we regenerate soil and grow nutrient-dense food using the Ancient Deep Mulch system. Visit the farm for educational tours, learn hands-on regenerative methods through our training programs, arrange convenient pickup, or join us as a volunteer. There are many ways to connect with what we do.
Premium greens, culturally relevant cooking vegetables, nutrient-dense root crops, aromatic herbs, and seasonal fruits—all grown without chemicals or synthetic inputs. We build living soil first, then let nature produce food you can trust. Browse what's available, order online, and taste what regenerative farming delivers.

Hand-harvested baby greens and salad mixes grown in living soil—tender, nutrient-dense, and perfect for weekly meals that need real flavor.

Multiple kale varieties from tender red Russian to hearty curly—each with distinct flavor and texture, all grown in nutrient-rich soil.

Crisp, fresh head lettuce grown without chemicals for superior taste and texture—the foundation of great salads and clean, simple eating.
Our Ancient Deep Mulch beds stay covered with leaves, straw, and compost that we layer intentionally. We avoid tilling, which protects fungal networks and soil aggregates. Water held in the mulch means less irrigation and resilient crops in hot spells. Organic matter breaks down slowly, feeding microbes that in turn deliver nutrients directly to plant roots. This living mulch blanket reduces weeds, stabilizes soil temperatures, and steadily builds fertility with each season that passes.
Our farm grew out of a health crisis, a prayer for direction, and a clear answer, eat real food grown in real soil. Larry moved from patient to farmer, developing the Ancient Deep Mulch system to rebuild ground that could, in turn, rebuild people. Kela connects that harvest to practical nutrition, and Roy brings more than five decades of growing wisdom. Together, we stay small on purpose so we can know our land, know our customers, and stay accountable for every leaf.
Our Ancient Deep Mulch system protects soil life, reduces weeds, conserves moisture, and concentrates plant nutrition.
We prioritize collards, mustards, callaloo, and heritage greens that honor tradition while supporting everyday wellness.
Hands-on workshops, tours, and mentoring translate soil regeneration, nutrition, and small-farm systems into practical skills.
